This Harinama Preaching department was started by Srimati Mataji several years ago. When Srimati Mataji relocated to Vrindaban in 2001, the responsibility was given to Govindananda Das.

The goal of this department is to make every visitor of Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir chant the holy names of Krishna as instructed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The devotees from this department help visitors chant the holy names on the beads and also write the holy names.

The following projects are conducted under this department:

By distributing prasada daily at Sri Mayapur Dhama, you can receive the unlimited blessings of   Sri Caitanya Maahaprabhu and  Sri Sri Radha-Madhava.

Help fulfill Srila Prabhupada’s desire to distribute Lord Gauranga’s prasada to one and all!

Srila Prabhupada longed for the day when everyone will receive full-meals of prasada in Mayapur. In order to fulfill his desires, we are starting “Gauranga Prasada Seva”, a full-meal prasada distribution program.

This department has a staff of 10 devotees. As you may know, Srila Prabhupada repeatedly emphasized the need for all ISKCON temples to establish a proper accounting procedures. The goal of this department is to constantly improve accounting procedures and generate periodic financial reports as per the guidelines set by ISKCON India Bureau, in accordance with Indian law. Presently the department has completed computerization of its accounts.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu Lila exhibition

Chaitanya Exhibition is an area located inside the temple where Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s pastimes are beatifully painted and depicted on the walls in the form of bas-reliefs. A dramatic narration of the Lord’s divine pastimes in Bengali is played through an audio system. There are 4 devotees serving here. This exhibition is open from 10am to 1pm and from 4pm to 6pm.

Bhoga bhandar

Srila Prabhupada, in his teachings, had often emphasized cow care, teaching us that the society will flourish if cows and brahmanas are taken care of properly. ISKCON’s goshala at Mayapur is a happy home for more than 200 cows, bulls and calves. They grow up in a natural and peaceful atmosphere and are maintained nicely by a dedicated team of devotees.
